A large portion of DDDC’s business is receiving, storing, and issuing depot level repairable for FRCSW, which is one of the Navy’s largest repair facilities.

According to DLA Distribution San Diego Commander, Navy Capt. Jerome White, “It’s powerful when our employees have the opportunity to hear from customers who foot stomp the importance of what they do every day to support the warfighter.”

During Leehe’s visit, he highlighted DLA Distribution’s contributions to FRCSW’s mission. He also emphasized how the speed of parts and materials that move through the distribution center is a key factor in FRCSW’s maintenance schedules and fleet readiness.  He thanked the DDDC team for their hard work and emphasized the need for creative solutions for day-to-day challenges.

White also addressed his team at North Island, reemphasizing the DLA core values of leadership, professionalism, technical knowledge through dedication to duty, integrity, ethics, honor, courage and loyalty. White presented several employees with commander’s coins and certificates. DLA Distribution San Diego, California Peer-to-Peer Awards were presented to Ms. Irma Alfaro and Mr. James Warner.
