What is your job title, and what do you do, specifically? I am a Customer Support Specialist. I research the National Item Identification Numbers listed on the Back-Order Report that is assigned to me. I utilize various methods to reduce the amount of back orders for Fleet Readiness Center East. When possible, I perform breach of stock requests when another FRC or one of the three Air Force Industrial Sites have protected Stock on Hand, offer alternate parts, and perform research to see if the material can be obtained via the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office, lateral support, or surplus material. I also submit emergency buy packages to immediately fill funded requisitions and analyze sales orders for discrepancies. I submit requests to expedite the award of purchase requisitions to contract. I also submit requests for contracts to be expedited, have the delivery date improved, or confirm the contract is still on track to meet the delivery date.
What do you like most about your job? I enjoy the people I work with as well as working for management who respects their employees, their personal lives, and recognizes their accomplishments and hard work.

If you could speak directly to the warfighters you support, what would you tell them? If I could speak directly to the warfighters, I would thank them for everything they do and for all the sacrifices they make in order to provide freedom and safety for our country.
What was your first job? When I was 15, I got my first job working at Cold Stone Creamery ice cream store.
