Spring-like weather ends, associates prepare for cold

As the sun set over Defense Supply Center Columbus Feb. 3, it marked the end of a handful of Spring-like days in Central Ohio. Associates enjoyed temperatures in the low 60s thanks to a wave of warm weather. In counterpoint, the first week of February 2019 brought one of the largest snowfalls of the season – dumping nearly five inches of snow around Columbus.

As the region braces for the return of cold weather, associates are reminded to check the installation’s homepage at for updates on closures or delays. In addition to the website, closures or delays will also be announced on local radio and television stations as well as through the AtHoc Alert Notification System. Associates may also call 614-692-1800 for weather information.
