DLA Land and Maritime commander visits Pearl Harbor

Associates at Defense Logistics Agency Maritime Pearl Harbor welcomed DLA Land and Maritime Commander Navy Rear Adm. John T. Palmer Feb. 26-28. The detachment is one of several around the United States helmed by the Central Ohio-based logistics center.

During his visit to Hawaii, Palmer met with several key leaders, visited with the workforce and attended the detachment’s town hall.

At the town hall, Palmer discussed several topics of interest, recognized the detachment’s recent successes and presented several awards. Two associates, Craig Lawson and Luika Lum, received Commander’s Coins for outstanding service. Palmer also recognized two associates who earned Command awards: Lyle Ramel was presented with the Associate of the Month award for January and Dayna Cantu received the Associate of the Month award for February. Lastly, Palmer presented associate Richard Cabo with his 10-year Certificate of Service Award.
