NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. –
In a recent newsletter shared with employees, Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Anniston, Alabama, recognized Justin B. Rollins as one of the Champions of the Month.
Rollins distinguished himself during the first quarter of 2022 as part of the Inventory Action Team at DDAA, as a lead supply technician supporting DLA’s mission to maintain accountability of all stock items in service.
As a lead supply technician, Rollins realizes the importance of accurate counts during the performance of his duties, which has allowed item managers to freely requisition and store stock with no fear of denials, loss or unaccountability of material at DDAA.
Rollins’ performance this quarter has played a major role in the denial rate for the fiscal year to date of .04%, which guarantees stock is readily available to fill high-priority requisitions, preventing any work stoppages during critical times for the warfighter. Rollins conducted numerous high-dollar variance counts during this quarter and is recognized for his presence of mind during many counts where he applied additional efforts and research.
His actions were key in maintaining production and accountability of all material stowed and maintained at DDAA.
