In a recent newsletter shared with employees, Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Anniston, Alabama, recognized Transportation Assistant Mathew Hernandez as one of the Champions of the Month.
Hernandez was instrumental in shipping out all weapons-related items on time and correctly.
He is the subject matter expert for transportation in this area and has shared his expertise on several meetings/conference calls with DLA Distribution Headquarters entities and Department of the Army personnel.
His knowledge has also been used in the revamping of the Standard Operating Procedures. His efforts highly impacted weapons metrics and transportation coordination continues to maintain a high standard.
