NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. –
Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Bahrain hosted Army Col. Gerard Acosta, commander of Defense Logistics Agency CENTCOM & SOCOM who visited the DDNB facilities May 11 and participated in a town hall.
Acosta, along with his senior enlisted advisor, Army Master Sgt. Felisha Hagler and Anthony Johnson, DLA CENTCOM & SOCOM Distribution Operations officer, visited the center’s facilities, warehouses and the personnel section, where they were provided a site tour of DDNB operations.
During the townhall, Acosta presented his first edition command coin to several DDNB employees for their hard work and dedication in supporting the warfighter – Mohammed Alaswad, facilities equipment support services specialist, Shaima Haji, administrative assistant, Justin Newell, general supply specialist/safety officer and Marcel Harley, information operations.
