During the campaign, federal employees may make a one-time donation, recurring donation from their salary, or pledge hours to an organization or charity through CFC.

CFC pledges make a difference to individuals in need and organizations throughout the community. Since its inception, CFC has raised more than $8.6 billion for charities and people in need.

This year, Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center employees in Battle Creek, Michigan, donated $20,439 – exceeding last year’s amount of $ 19,544.

“The donations made by HDIFC employees support eligible non-profit organizations that provide health and human service benefits throughout the world,” Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services CFC Key Worker Robert Parks said.

The partnered effort included contributions from tenants of HDIFC to include DLA Disposition Services, DLA Information Operations, DLA Logistics Operations, and DLA Installation Management.

In addition to the monetary donations, eight HDIFC employees donated a combined total of 244 hours to charities through the CFC.

“I would like to give a big shout out to John Poudrier - the primary coordinator for the Combined Federal Campaign for the Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center,” Parks said. “He did an amazing job leading and working with all the key workers assigned to the various organizations within the building. We achieved our goal of raising $20,000 in donor contributions, in large part because of his efforts leading the charge.”

A new goal will be set for the 2023 campaign.
