The nomination suspense for select FY23 Executive Development Program offerings has been extended to Jan. 27 for the following courses: The Eisenhower School, LOGTECH Advanced Program in Logistics and Technology, and the Life Cycle Executive Leadership Program.
The Eisenhower School is a 10-month academic senior service school which results in a master’s degree. The school is considered pivotal in developing Defense Logistics Agency senior leaders.
The LOGTECH Advanced Program in Logistics and Technology is a workshop-style course that introduces participants to leading-edge developments in logistics thinking and promotes the exchange of ideas within the greater logistics community.
The Life Cycle Executive Leadership Program emphasizes business aspects of life cycle design, support decisions, effective and affordable life cycle system design and total cost reduction. The course brings together private sector and military leaders with leading experts in the fields of research and education to learn latest practices, share experiences, and share valuable life cycle related insights.

Developing current and future leaders is an important part of DLA’s culture and succession management process. Courses under the umbrella of DLA’s Executive Development Program are grounded in leadership, developmental in nature, and intended to help leaders effectively navigate and manage leadership challenges and develop leadership competencies critical to maintaining supply chain excellence. Courses range in length from a few days to a few months and eligibility requirements vary. Managers are encouraged to nominate high potential, highly motivated individuals for competitive consideration. Employees may be nominated for up to two courses. Tuition is centrally funded under the DLA EDP. Travel and per diem are the responsibility of the nominating organization.
