KAISERSLAUTERN, Germany –
Contested logistics was the focus during a two-day Joint European Command and Africa Command Deployment and Distribution Conference held in Stuttgart, Germany, March 7-8.
Defense Logistics Agency Europe & Africa Commander Army Col. Faith Chamberlain participated in an Africom panel discussion moderated by Larry Kindler, Africom’s deputy for Logistics Operations. Chamberlain provided insights on ensuring logistics readiness while providing an overview of DLA’s current challenges and successes in the Eucom and Africom theaters.
More than 370 people from the military, industry and represented allies, partners, stakeholders and subject matter experts attended the event. The conference was initially planned for 2020 but delayed due to COVID-19 and world events.
The conference was an opportunity for DLA Europe & Africa, Eucom and Africom to synchronize efforts spanning the entire global logistics enterprise, including military, commercial and government domains.
