What is your job title and what do you do specifically? I am an inventory management specialist, and my job is to keep the maintenance shop producing by mitigating backorders of needed materials.
How do you support the warfighter? I work to meet the warfighter’s needs by expediting contracts and purchase requisitions or by conducting emergency retail buys of material that is urgently required by the Air Force shop.
What do you like most about your job and why? I feel like what I do is an important role in supporting the warfighter, who helps keep the United States safe.
What is your fondest memory of working for DLA Aviation? I’m privileged to work with a wonderful team of people and have great management, all of whom have created many fond memories for me at DLA Aviation.
Professionally, where do you see yourself five years from now? In five years, I shall be enjoying retirement with my family and my ‘fur baby’ Yorkie dog, Daxter.
Who is the most influential person in your life...past or present and why? My parents had the greatest influence on me. They were wonderful and kind people with high morals and standards.
What is your proudest accomplishment and why? Being a good aunt to my nieces and nephews is my proudest accomplishment. I don’t have children, but they are like my children.
