PHILADELPHIA –
Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Logistics Leigh Method visited Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support on August 14 to learn more about the organization’ s capabilities and warfighter support.
During the visit Method received supply chain briefings, as well as tours of the Flag Room and Product Test Center.
Method, a 24-year Air Force veteran, serves as the principal advisor to the Department of Defense assistant secretary for sustainment. A member of the Senior Executive Service, Method works to promote collaboration between top presidential appointees and the federal workforce.
On her way to the Flag Room and Product Test Center facilities, Method explained she is “appreciative of DLA and its mission to support warfighters’ needs around the globe.”
“As a veteran and logistician, I understand this is a huge undertaking, [and] I personally thank you for your hard work supporting servicemembers around world.”
