Describe your job in a sentence or two. 
Operations is the most important Directorate in DLA Disposition Services.  We provide guidance, enforce policy, and provide advice to our field sites and customers on the cradle to grave process for all reverse logistics functions. 

How long have you worked for the federal government including military service? 17 years, 14 of which have been with DLA Disposition Services.

What is your favorite thing about your line of work? The people.

What is the best piece of advice someone has given you?  Listen with your ears, not your mouth.

What is one characteristic that you believe every leader should possess?  Never forget where you came from.

What keeps you motivated.  Knowing our customers rely on us.

What do you see as your biggest challenge right now?  WMS

Why is networking to build professional relationships so important in achieving success? Successful people surround themselves with other successful people.

What would you have done differently in your career if given the opportunity?  Complete one assignment in Europe.

What was your first job? Cook at Imo’s Pizza in St. Louis

What is your best memory of working here? 2013 deployment to Afghanistan

What did you want to be when you grew up?  Center Fielder for the St. Louis Cardinals

What was your favorite thing about growing up?  Life seemed easier back then…no cell phones, no social media, etc.

What are your hobbies?  MLB, NFL, NHL, woodworking, travel, hiking
