Local national employees from Defense Logistics Agency Europe & Africa, U.S. Air Forces Europe and Africa and the Defense Commissary Agency received recognition for their years in service in a ceremony hosted by the 86th Force Support Squadron at the Officers Club on Ramstein Air Base Dec. 7.

86th Airlift Wing Commanding General Air Force Brig. Gen. Otis C. Jones and Command Chief Master Sgt. Louis J. Ludwig recognized four DLA Europe & Africa local national employees: Andrea Quaiser, Nathalie Iyabi, Hauke Dins and Heike Neimann.

Quaiser from DLA Information Operations Europe & Africa and Iyabi from DLA Energy Europe & Africa marked 20 years of dedicated service. Dins of DLA Energy Europe & Africa commemorated a 30-year milestone. Neimann with DLA Troop Support Europe & Africa was honored for her 40 years of service, most of which has been with DLA.

“Frau Neumann plays a critical role in DLA Europe & Africa as the president of the Kaiserslautern Military Community Works Council, as well as her years of outstanding support to the DLA Troop Support mission as a procurement analyst,” said DLA Europe & Africa Deputy Commander Don Bruce. “Frau Neumann is known by many businesses, fellow contracting shops, and employees of all region [major subordinate commands] as an outstanding, helpful, customer-focused employee.”
