FORT BELVOIR, Va. –
Defense Logistics Agency Research and Development and DLA Acquisition will co-host a collaboration forum here Aug. 21 to mark the launch of the agency’s Strategic Materials program of record.

Sessions will include opening remarks from DLA Chief Information Officer Adarryl Roberts and DLA Acquisition Director Matt Beebe along with a keynote address from DLA Strategic Materials Director Eric Mata, highlighting program objectives and strategies to acquire critical materials and strengthen the National Defense Stockpile.
A panel of Defense Department experts highlighting whole-of-government efforts to build resilience against supply disruptions and hands-on demonstrations are expected to round out the event.
“We are excited to bring together leaders and stakeholders across DOD and our industry partners to share insights on strategic materials investments and opportunities to collaborate,” DLA R&D Deputy Director Martina Johnson said.
