What do you do? Try to find ways of getting the necessary material for my shops. I also provide the customer with the status of material that is currently not in stock.
Why did you decide to work for DLA? I saw the opportunity to continue to support the warfighter after getting out of the Air Force.
What do you like most about your job? I really enjoy working with our Fleet Readiness Center East customers every day. I try to solve part issues and provide any solutions, and I get to work with a great team.
How do you support the warfighter? I support the warfighter by providing status to customers at FRCE. I also provide status and updates on parts currently not in the supply system or find alternate solutions to resolve such issues.
If you could speak directly to the warfighters you support, what would you tell them? The DLA team at Cherry Point is going above and beyond to support you.
Professionally, where do you see yourself five years from now? I plan on retiring and enjoy traveling with my wife, visiting all the distilleries on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail and attending Notre Dame football games.
What is the most surprising or unexpected thing others don’t know about you? I am an instructor for Whiskey University.
What is your favorite military aircraft? I am biased since I was stationed at Myrtle Beach Air Force Base, South Carolina, the A10 Warthog is my favorite, and it is a tank’s worse nightmare. The AV-8 (Harrier) is a close second.
