After a seven-year hiatus, Defense Logistics Agency Energy is bringing back the Worldwide Energy Conference to the Gaylord National Hotel and Convention Center, National Harbor, Maryland April 10-12, 2017.
“We have taken the initiative to ‘revive’ the DLA Energy Worldwide Energy Conference which has been dormant since 2010,” said Bruce Blank, DLA Energy Procurement Process Support director. “The “new” WWEC and trade show will be a terrific opportunity to discuss the latest energy strategies, best industry practices, installation energy management, contract processes, interagency initiatives, bulk petroleum and direct delivery engagements worldwide, and alternative fuel and renewable energy technologies and capabilities.”
The conference’s theme will be “Refining Global Energy Strategies”.
The conference and trade show draws from the entire spectrum of the energy supply chain and provides an exclusive opportunity for Department of Defense employees, contractors, the military services peers and leaders, and top industry experts to congregate to discuss current trends and initiative in the petroleum, alternative fuel and renewable energy fields.
Keynote speakers, plenary session, panels, breakout sessions and exhibitors will offer the opportunity to learn about the latest trends and technologies in the energy industry and how the federal government, specifically DoD, which is becoming a more efficient and environmentally friendly consumer of energy products.
