DLA Aviation’s new commander tours industrial support activities

Straight from completing the Capstone Military Leadership Program at Fort Lesley J. McNair in Washington, District of Columbia, Air Force Brig. Gen. Linda Hurry, Defense Logistics Agency Aviation commander, began a round of tours to four of the activity’s industrial support activity sites Aug. 21-25.

Hurry started her visits at DLA Aviation-San Diego in North Island, California, on Aug. 21, meeting DLA Aviation employees and sharing her leadership philosophy.  She also met Navy customers while touring the Fleet Readiness Center-Southwest.

During the week-long tour, Hurry will also visit DLA Aviation at Ogden, Hill Air Force Base, Utah; DLA Aviation at Warner Robins, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia; and DLA Aviation-Jacksonville, Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, Florida.
