FORT BELVOIR, Virginia, –
Defense Logistics Agency Research and Development will host its 4th annual Industry Day for industry and academic partners Nov. 7 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the McNamara Headquarters Complex.
DLA R&D representatives will give presentations on agency programs that support emerging capabilities, highlighting strategic focus, strong partnerships, modernization and emerging needs. Topics will include manufacturing technology such as Additive Manufacturing, Battery Network, Subsistence Network and Military Unique Sustainment Technology; logistics research and development such as Strategic Distribution and Disposition, the Energy Readiness Program and Supply Chain Management; and small business innovation programs such as Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer.
Attendees will have the opportunity to talk to R&D program managers and attend program breakouts following the presentations.
