Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is holding its first virtual Industry Day June 8-9. The theme is ‘From a Challenging Year to Unprecedented Opportunities: Opening the Door to Virtual Accessibility.”
Daniele Kurze, the director of Supplier Operations Commodities for DLA Aviation encourages manufacturers, dealers, distributors, and consultants to attend. Attendees will use Zoom.gov as the interactive platform to attend the opening sessions, along with any of the 14 scheduled sessions addressing acquisition and supply chain topics.
Keynote speakers will include DLA Director Navy Vice Adm. Michelle Skubic and Dwight Deneal, the director of the DLA Office of Small Business Programs, as well as other senior DLA Aviation leadership.
Kurze said suppliers will be able to showcase their capabilities through a “bring your own booth” feature for small businesses.
