I am a local national (Okinawan) currently working as Disposition Service Representative (DSR) and RTD specialist. I mainly serve customer service for turn-in and RTD customers. I provide Turn In 101 class and correct turn in procedure to make successfully accomplish their task.

DLA DS isn’t only a place for disposal of property, DLA DS offers reutilization of property. I didn’t know until I joined to DLA DS. Customers can find and request items from DLA DS site worldwide, and they ship it to you for FREE!
What aspect(s) of your current job gives you the most personal satisfaction and why?
I feel satisfaction when I assist customers and I provide correct guidance and procedures for disposal, then they could turn in their excess and/or unneeded properties without any issue.
What is the best piece of advice someone has given you?
Nobody is perfect. Mistakes make people.
What kind(s) of training and education helps your work performance in your current role?
Property Accounting Basic (PAB) and Property Accounting Advance (PAA) training.

Turning in property to DLA DS isn’t difficult once get familiar with turn in process. That’s why we are here to support you and your team!
