NEW CUMBERLAND, Pennsylvania, Nov. 1, 2016 —
Tenants of Defense Distribution Center, Susquehanna lined the streets surrounding the Child Development Center and the installation fire station to hand out candy to approximately 120 ghouls, goblins, superheroes and princesses during the Halloween parade on Oct. 31.
The employees of the New Cumberland, Pa., installation donated candy and small toys to make the Halloween parade a special event for the children of the CDC. After making the rounds to collect candy, the final stop on the parade route was a meet and greet with the DLA Fire Department.
The annual parade is an event the entire installation looks forward to each year.
