Profiles in Resiliency: Mason Chronister

Resiliency is one of the Defense Logistics Agency’s five core values: Integrity, Resiliency and Diversity, Innovation, Accountability and Excellence. Resiliency is the foundation for agency leaders’ actions in support of their customers and employees. It provides employees flexibility to adapt to changing environments while achieving outstanding results.

DLA has produced a series of videos titled “Profiles in Resiliency,” to help support employees’ ability to bounce back and move forward.

Mason Chronister, a management assistant in DLA Distribution’s department of Organizational Management and J9 was born deaf and at the age of 14 developed Usher Syndrome. Usher Syndrome results in a combination of hearing loss and visual impairment. Despite his condition, Chronister has been able to work with his supervisor and coworkers to expertly execute his job.
