4-Hour Webinar: Technical Data Compliance Fundamentals
This 4-hour webinar serves as an orientation-level course focused on responsibilities associated with handling technical data. The instruction introduces participants to the fundamentals of reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical data packages (TDPs).
Students will learn to identify and differentiate Alpha and Numeric codes and understand their role in maintaining technical data integrity and traceability.
The course also provides an overview of Distribution Statements (A–F) and proprietary markings, enabling participants to recognize restrictions and properly safeguard while maintaining National Stock Number (NSN) accuracy.
In addition, the webinar introduces the foundational concepts of additive manufacturing and its growing role in future logistics, sustainment, and technical data management.
Participants will be able to:
• Identify key elements of engineering drawings and technical data packages
• Interpret distribution statements and proprietary markings
• Recognize the role of additive manufacturing in future logistics and sustainment
8-Hour In-Person Training: Interpretation and Application of Technical Data Management & Additive Manufacturing Integration
This 8-hour instructor-led course expands beyond introductory concepts and provides guided instruction and practical examples, where participants will work through exercises and gain the knowledge necessary to properly interpret technical data, ensure regulatory compliance, and support accurate technical documentation within modern defense logistics environments.
Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to:
• Interpret the fundamental components of engineering drawings and Technical Data Packages (TDPs)
• Differentiate Alpha and Numeric coding systems used in technical documentation and supply systems
• Identify and properly interpret Distribution Statements (A–F)
• Recognize proprietary markings and understand intellectual property protection requirements
• Understand the relationship between technical data, National Stock Numbers (NSNs), and logistics accuracy
• Describe the foundational role of additive manufacturing in future sustainment and supply operations
