DLA LOAC Level I- System Overview- General Information

(4 Hours, Webinar)

The 4-hour LOAC Overview Course provides students with a high-level introduction to DLA Logistics Operations applications and their role in supporting research, planning, and day-to-day logistics functions. This session familiarizes participants with the core capabilities of FED LOG®, WebFLIS®, FedMall, WebVLIPS, and IGC, offering clear demonstrations of how each tool is used to access, validate, and analyze essential materiel data.

Designed as an orientation-level course, the instruction focuses on system awareness, navigation fundamentals, and key use cases rather than step-by-step execution. Students will observe guided demonstrations, learn how the applications interact within the broader logistics ecosystem, and understand when and why each tool should be used during logistics planning or research activities.

By then end of this overview, participants will have a solid foundational understanding of DLA's primary logistics information systems and be better prepared for deeper, hands-on training or operational application in their duties.
