Frequently Used Resources
There are so many ways to work with the Defense Logistics Agency, and the following resources are what customers turn to most frequently to get the job done. Not sure where to start?
The Account Management and Provisioning System (AMPS) can set up your access to computer application resources or provide information to a provisioner for manual setup. Access is based on the approval of your request for one or more application roles. Application users (civilians, military, contractors, vendors, the public), can have AMPS accounts that enable them to submit requests for these roles. When a role is approved, the user has access to the application resource.
Access the CAGE application
Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) codes are the five-digit identifiers required for all businesses that wish to do business with the U.S. government. Search for CAGE codes, find required forms, request a new CAGE code or update an existing CAGE code.
DoDAAC and RIC Simple Search
The Department of Defense Activity Address Directory (DoDAAD) can help have a Department of Defense Activity Address Code (DoDAAC) looked up, created, modified or deleted.
FLIS Data Reading Room
Disposition Services / LESO Reading Room
Regularly requested Freedom of Information Act information is available in digital reading rooms. The Federal Logistics Information Services (FLIS) Data Electronic Reading Room has information related to FLIS and Public Logistics Data on Mobile Media (PUB LOG) FLIS Search applications. The Disposition Services Reading Room has information on the sale of government property or material, as well as on Law Enforcement Support Office (LESO) property transfers.
Access Disposition Resources
DLA Disposition Services is responsible for the disposal of excess DOD personal property, foreign excess personal property (FEPP), scrap, hazardous waste, and property requiring demilitarization. Personnel are prepared to assist you in completing necessary documents, arranging for disposal solutions, and training your personnel in disposal turn-in procedures. Disposition Services can dispose of large items in-place, that are not transportable to a DLA storage area, or property that is held in remote locations.
A web-based Electronic Turn-in Document (ETID) is an electronic method for preparing a disposal turn-in document (DD Form 1348-1A). The intent of the web-based document is to simplify and improve the turn-in process. It was designed for generators who manually prepare their turn-in documents. ETID eliminates the handwritten preparation of the DD Form 1348-1A, making it faster and easier to turn property in to DLA Disposition Services.
Federal Logistics Data on Mobile Media (FEDLOG) data provides users the ability to access Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS) data, including NSN information and approved item names. FED LOG is available in a five disc set or downloadable from FedMall.
FedMall Information and Access
FedMall provides access to requisitions, research, and tracking tools for DLA inventory. It is an eCommerce ordering system for Department of Defense, federal, state, and authorized local agencies to search for and acquire products from government reserves and commercial sources. Buyers will have access to tens of millions of individual items of supply, from centrally managed DoD and General Service Administration assets to commercial off-the-shelf products.
Joint Certification Program Overview
The Joint Certification Program (JCP) certifies Canadian and United States (U.S.) contractors for access to unclassified military technical data belonging to Canada's Department of National Defence (DND) and to the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD). This Program helps to protect controlled Unclassified Militarily Critical Technical Data (MCTD) and technology from common adversaries, but allows it to flow to certified Canadian and U.S. companies that have a legitimate need-to-know for business purposes.
Access LESO Resources
The Law Enforcement Support Office (LESO) helps with the transfer of excess Department of Defense property (equipment) that might otherwise be destroyed to law enforcement agencies across the United States and its territories. No equipment is purchased for distribution. All items were excess which had been turned in by military units or had been held as part of reserve stocks until no longer needed.
Intro to RTD Property Search
DLA Disposition Services offers a wide variety of serviceable property for reutilization, transfer, or donation (RTD) to DOD units and other additional agencies. Property reutilized through Disposition Services is at no cost to the receiving DOD activity in most cases.
The Web Federal Logistics Information System (WebFLIS) provides essential information about supply items including the National Stock Number, the item name, manufacturers and suppliers (including part numbers), through a web interface connected to FLIS data. This information will be primarily used by DLA, military services, and United States Government sponsored contractors doing business with the U.S. Government.
