Currently 12 MH-53's require replacement of one sleeve nut on the rotor head and seven on the sleeves and spindles which are the main components for the helicopter's rotary blades. Defense Logistics Agency Aviation Customer Operations Directorate’s weapon systems program office in Richmond, Virginia, is part of the management team that helps keep the MH-53 helicopter fleet mission ready.
