DLA Distribution Expeditionary deploys in support of Hurricane Helene relief efforts
The Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Expeditionary team and members from FEMA work together to track inbound and outbound commodities. They are deployed in support of a Federal Emergency Management Agency mission assignment to establish a forward Incident Support Base at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, following Hurricane Helene to receive, track, and ship lifesaving commodities to aid those impacted by the storm’s destruction. The DLA Distribution Expeditionary team’s Mobile Emergency Response Center contains supplies including reflective vests, FEMA receiving/shipping docs, markers, pens, and light sets to establish the ISB for 14 days before requiring replenishment.
