  • Audit Readiness

As the Department of Defense's premier combat logistics support agency and a prime logistics integrator, DLA is committed to taking a leading role in the identification and execution of performance based logistics support strategies.

Performance Based Logistics has been around for several years. In the past, DLA’s primary mission focused on providing mission  and parts support. However, that business model is changing. From this point forward, the agency will expand and transition its focus from being solely a parts provider to being a deliverer of performance-based outcomes to the military services.

The PBL Program Office and its  partners across the DLA enterprise will seek out, engage and execute opportunities to deliver improved combat support to warfighters through PBL.

To assist in attaining its mission, vision and goals, DLA's PBL Program Office will partner with industry and military services to pursue and implement a successful relationship.
