General Information

DLA Troop Support’s (TS) Subsistence supply chain provides food support for the military all over the world. From individually packaged meals in a soldier's ruck sack, to a ship's galley and to full service dining facilities on military installations, Subsistence gets that food there. We work with our industry partners around the globe to  feed the newest troops in training and seasoned sailors at sea. And we take pride in ensuring our  service members have a taste of home for the holidays, no matter where they’re deployed.

In partnership with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, we also provide fresh fruit and vegetables to  children in 47 states through our school lunch program. Subsistence also supports other non-DoD  activities such as the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the State Department, Veterans’  Homes and more.

Where to Find Procurement Opportunities

DLA Troop Support’s Subsistence supply chain conducts most of its business electronically through the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS).  DIBBS is a web-based bid board that allows suppliers to search for, view, and submit secure quotes on Requests for Quotations (RFQs), search and view Request for Proposals (RFPs), and view awards for DLA items of supply. Most DLA TS Subsistence solicitations are posted on the DIBBS bid board .

All procurements opportunities over $25,000 are publicized on the Federal Contract Opportunities website at SAM.gov .  Search for DLA Troop Support’s Subsistence opportunities and notices in SAM.gov . using the following codes:
