To celebrate Flag Day, June 14, The DLA Troop Support Flag Room team demonstrated the making of the presidential flag to visitors at the Betsy Ross House in Philadelphia. The Flag Room is the sole producer of the presidential and vice presidential flags, and its staff are considered the “Betsy Ross of the 21st century,” for their patriotic flag making.

Medical team partners with federal agencies to provide COVID-19 support to island nations

In continued support of the U.S. and international partners’ fight against COVID-19, the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support provided over $800,000 in testing and treatment equipment to the Solomon Islands and American Samoa in April. DLA Troop Support Medical supply chain’s partnerships with the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command and Department of Health and Human Services aided in the acquisition and ongoing delivery of more than 39,000 at-home tests and ten oxygen concentrators to help control the spread and effects of COVID-19.
