DLA Logistic Operations (J3)
DLA Logistics Operations (J3) is responsible for the end-to-end supply chain management of the Defense Logistics Agency's (DLA) nine supply chains, providing logistics and materiel process management policy, guidance, and oversight while conducting continuous assessments of supply chain performance. J3 integrates strategic, operational, and tactical perspectives, and C2 functions for contingency operations and adaptive planning in order to influence the end to end logistics supply chain. J3 is the principal strategic, operational, and tactical planner for DLA business operations, championing best business practices, Enterprise Business Systems (EBS), and value-added logistics solutions for the warfighter. J3 oversees Operational Contract Support (OCS), the daily operation of the DLA Logistics Field Activities (FA), and engages DLA HQ Directorates and PLFAs to gather and interpret customer requirements for the Agency.
In support of customers around the world, J3 serves to maximize readiness and logistics combat power by leveraging enterprise solutions. To fulfill this mission, organizational elements aligned under J3 include Operations Executive Directorate, Support Executive Directorate, the Joint Contingency Acquisition Support Office (JCASO), and the Business Management Office.

DLA Joint Contingency Acquisition Support Office provides strategic and operational level Operational Contract Support (OCS) program management across DoD and the Whole of Government. When requested, JCASO provides to the DoD Combatant Command (COCOM) Commanders a deployable OCS capability to effectively and efficiently coordinate OCS program activities. JCASO's two fly-away teams, Policy specialists, and Joint Operational Contract Support Planners (JOCSPs) support COCOM planning, exercises, training, and deployments.
