Joe Yoswa has been the Director of DLA Public affairs since March of 2014. He is a leader in government communications with over 25 years' experience serving in U.S. Army, DOD, Joint Service and corporate communication positions focused on current and contingency operations, interdepartmental coordination and international awareness of policy and programs tied to national level events.
His most recent positions include: Director of Media Management at Veterans Health Administration; Director, Media Relations and Public Affairs for Contingency Operations at Flour Government Group; Deputy Public Affairs Officer to the Commanding General, Multi-National Force - Iraq and Director of the Media Services Division for the Army's Soldiers Media Center.
His education includes a Masters of Science from Texas A&M University in Science and Technology Journalism and a Bachelor's of Science in Secondary Education from the University of Minnesota.
