Gabby Earhardt is the Acquisition Executive and the Head of the Contracting Activity for DLA Energy. In this capacity, she has full managerial responsibility for all energy supply chain acquisition operations. She is engaged in the full range of logistics and acquisition planning, life-cycle management, and management of worldwide energy programs.
Ms. Earhardt is responsible for all the DLA Energy business units, managing acquisition programs exceeding $13 billion in annual sales. In addition, she was engaged in the oversight and management of acquisition programs and the field-level execution for end-to-end Class III supply chain support of U.S. and coalition forces in Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.
During the period of November 2016 through June 2017, Ms. Earhardt served as the Acting Deputy Commander, DLA Energy. As Acting Deputy Commander, she was responsible for providing Department of Defense and other government agencies with comprehensive energy solutions in the most effective and efficient manner possible.
Ms. Earhardt was the Director of the Procurement Process Support directorate; she has also worked in various contracting positions within DLA Energy, to include, contracting officer in the Overseas Bulk Fuels Division, Division Chief for the Direct Supply Natural Gas Program and in the Electricity and Utility Privatization programs.
Ms. Earhardt is certified in Contracting at Level III under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act and is a member of the Defense Acquisition Corps.
