Chief Master Sergeant Bowling is currently serving as the Senior Enlisted Advisor of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Joint Reserve Force, a role she assumed on December 5, 2025.
Chief Bowling began her military career in 2004, enlisting in the United States Air Force. Her active-duty assignments included the 341st Comptroller Squadron at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana, the 62nd Comptroller Squadron at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, the 23rd Special Tactics Squadron at Hurlburt Field, Florida, and the 380th Expeditionary Wing in Southwest Asia.
In 2014, she transitioned to the United States Air Force Reserve, where she served as the Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of travel pay at Duke Field, Florida.
Her subsequent reserve assignments include Assistant Flight Chief of Financial Management for the 512th Airlift Wing at Dover AFB, Delaware, and First Sergeant for both the 712th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron and the 512th Maintenance Squadron at Dover AFB. As First Sergeant, she was the commander’s liaison for over 180 military personnel, overseeing their readiness, health, morale, and welfare. Most recently, she was the Wing Staff Agency Superintendent for the 434th Air Refueling Wing at Grissom Air Reserve Base, Indiana.
Chief Bowling holds a Master’s degree in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor’s degree in Workforce Education and Development from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. She also has two associate degrees from the Community College of the Air Force, one in Human Resources and another in Financial Management. Her professional certifications include the DoD Financial Management Certification, Level 3 (DFMC III) and the Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM).
CMSgt Bowling is married to Mr. Russell Bowling, and they have a daughter named Thea.
