CLEVELAND, Ohio –
The U.S. Navy celebrated 242 years of service to the country, and the DFAS Cleveland Military Awareness Committee observed the Navy’s birthday last week in the 31st Floor Auditorium. More than 120 employees enjoyed the event.
The theme was “Sea Power to Protect and Promote.” The guest speaker was Rear Admiral Michelle Skubic, Supply Corps, who serves as Commander, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Land and Maritime in Columbus, Ohio.
The Ceremonial cake was cut and the ship bells were rung to honor the Navy’s Birthday.
