Tamala Jackson is the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Employee of the Month for September.
Jackson tracked the delivery of bottled water to the Federal Emergency Management Agency in support of disaster response efforts following Hurricane Harvey. She worked with eight vendors to help deliver 186,968 cases of bottled water, or 1.5 million liters, to Randolph Air Force Base, Texas.
Jackson is a tailored vendor logistics specialist on the Subsistence supply chain's continental United States garrison feeding team.
