Free computer equipment available to Central Ohio schools

DLA Land and Maritime Public Affairs

Release No. 180510-01

Central Ohio schools can receive free computer equipment through the Defense Logistics Agency’s Computers For Learning program.

Thousands of pieces of computer equipment including monitors, CPUs, projectors, keyboards and more are now available at several locations in Ohio due in part to a nationwide Air Force IT upgrade.

Interested schools and educational nonprofit organizations can find more information on this program and register at

Once registered, schools participating in the CFL program can browse the available equipment and select what they need. All property distributed through the program is at no cost to the recipient.

The CFL program allows government agencies to donate surplus computers and equipment to eligible schools and educational nonprofits serving students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade.

For assistance, contact the CFL Program Manager at or 269-961-5439.
