Prisoners of War/Missing in Action
Each year, the third Friday of September is a day set aside to remember the more than 83,000 U.S. service members who remain classified as either prisoners of war or missing in action.
2018 POW/MIA Event
Defense Supply Center Columbus is hosting a POW/MIA event in the Operations Center Auditorium Sept. 21. Guest speaker Strategic International Coordinator (Southeast Asia) at the Defense Prisoner of War/Missing in Action Accounting Agency Jack Kull will speak on current operations in Asia and around the world. He will also show a video explaining more about DPAA.

Strategic International Coordinator (Southeast Asia) at the Defense Prisoner of War/Missing in Action Accounting Agency
Kull serves as a Strategic International Coordinator (Southeast Asia) at the Defense Prisoner of War/Missing in Action Accounting Agency. Prior to the establishment of DPAA in January, 2015, he was the senior Vietnam War policy advisor at the Defense POW/Missing Personnel Office. He joined DPMO in 2002 after 17 years on Capitol Hill, the last three as the Director of Government Affairs for Rep. John M. McHugh (R-NY). Among other duties, he advised Rep. McHugh on matters relating to the POW/MIA issue and supported the senior foreign policy and defense assistant in the fields of military affairs and POW/MIA matters.
His involvement in the POW/MIA issue spans more than thirty-five years.
