Years of Service: 9 years

What is your job title, and what do you do, specifically? I am a customer support specialist. I work in the Material Requisition Branch tracking down requisitions in a timely manner providing support to the Fleet Readiness Center East production shops.

What do you like most about your job? What I like most about my job is taking care of the warfighter.

What is your fondest memory of working for DLA Aviation? My fondest memories from my time here at DLA date back from when I was a Marine in Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron-14 supply working in the H-1 shop.

If you could speak directly to the warfighters you support, what would you tell them? If I could speak directly to the warfighters I support, I would tell them that I was once in their shoes. For this reason, I will always try my best to meet all their requirements in a timely manner.

What was your first job? My first job was as a customer service technician.

Where do you see yourself five years from now?  In five years, I see myself nearing retirement.

What’s the most thrilling/adventurous thing you have ever done? The most thrilling/adventurous thing I have ever done was climb Mount Fuji, Japan.

Who is the most influential person in your life...past or present? Jesus Christ, my personal Lord and Savior is the most influential person in my life.

What is your favorite military aircraft?  Why? My favorite military aircraft is the A-6E Intruder, a twinjet all-weather attack aircraft because I once flew in the navigator seat while on deployment in Australia.

What is your proudest accomplishment? My proudest accomplishment would have seeing the Marines under my supervision return home from our time serving in Iraq from 2003 through 2004 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
