NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. –
Rear Adm. Joseph D. Noble Jr., the director of Defense Logistics Agency Logistics Operations, visited DLA Distribution Europe and toured the facilities Oct. 20.
DLA Europe & Africa Commander, Army Col. Faith Chamberlain, escorted Noble on a tour which started at DDDE’s main warehouse facility, where he was briefed on dormant stock and hazardous materials/cylinder challenges. After the warehouse tour, Noble was provided a windshield tour of DDDE outlying facilities in Germersheim, Germany.
Noble praised the DDDE team for their efforts in supporting Operation Allies Refuge . Neil Flanagan, the deputy commander at DDDE, was thankful for the praise.
“It was great to hear Rear. Adm. Noble give recognition to the entire DDDE team for their support of the Afghan OAR mission,” he said.
After the tour was completed, Noble presented a commander’s coin to Alison Brahm, the training coordinator at DDDE, for her outstanding support to the warfighter.
