Anything interesting about you you’d like to share?

I have been interested in learning English. It is good luck at work to use English.

Describe your job.

Customer service and receiving disposition items from Misawa Air Base, Hachinohe and Shariki.

How long have you worked for the federal government, including military service?

Four years as a local national employee.

How long have you worked for DLA Disposition Services?

One year. Before this, I worked for USAF for three years.)

Any good memories with DLA?

A farewell for a former receiver. He worked in DLA DS and DRMO for over 30 years. I learned a lot from his experience.

What about the job gives you satisfaction?

I can handle the receiving section. I feel every co-worker depends on me.

Receive any good advice?

My boss told me that if I have a concern, let him know anything. He is a reliable manager.

If you could speak directly to the warfighters you support, what would you tell them?

Thank you for your dedication. I always look forward to meeting you.

Any other interesting recent work memories?

Sometimes, it snows a lot in winter here and everyone cooperates to remove the snow. It is a hard mission, but it’s our destiny to fight against and live with snow.

Any heroes?

Hidetoshi Nakata was a soccer player. He showed good performance in Italy and got a goal in FIFA World Cup. I was always moved by his play.
