Skubic highlighted DLA’s support around the world this year, including providing millions of COVID-19 test kits to U.S. citizens, supporting the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the U.S. Forest Service during hurricane and wildfire seasons, rolling out the Warehouse Management System, and exceeding the agency’s small business goals for the 10th year in a row.

“I want to thank each and every one of you, no matter where you work in our agency or what you do,” Skubic said. “We are all part of a phenomenal team here at DLA, and I am amazed at how much we accomplish every day.”

O’Neal took a moment to remind the workforce to be careful during the holiday season, whether that’s during decorating, cooking, celebrating or driving in treacherous winter weather.

She also spoke about the importance of resilience and engaging with others during this time of year, reminding employees about resources like the Employee Assistance Program if they feel overwhelmed.

“Reach out, check in on your family members, friends and DLA teammates if you haven’t heard from them in a while,” O’Neal said. “Let them know you care. Yours could be the voice they need to hear.”

The video, as well as DLA news, feature stories and videos from employees around the world are available at the agency’s Facebook page.
