Aviation Commander visits three states in four days

Defense Logistics Agency Aviation Commander Air Force Brig. Gen. Sean Tyler spent four days meeting those who support the Army customers by conducting site visits to the Army Depot in Corpus Christi, Texas, depot level repairable team in Huntsville, Alabama, and attended the Army Aviation Association of America conference in Nashville, Tennessee, Apr. 24 – 27.

Tyler was joined by Air Force Col. Dan Willison, director of DLA Aviation’s Customer Operation Directorate, and Army Col. Darren Buss, chief of the Army Customer Facing Division, along with members of the Army Customer Facing team to focus on learning more about how DLA Aviation supports the warfighters and to personally recognize members of the team.

Tyler met with Army Air and Missile Command and Logistics Centers Commander Army Maj. Gen. Thomas O’Connor, Jr., and senior civilian leaders during his trip to AMCOM, based in Huntsville.  O’Connor and Maj. Gen. Robert Barrie, Jr., program executive officer for Army Aviation, discussed supply chain constraints and ways to partner going forward.

Rounding out his trip, Tyler attended the AAAA Summit in Nashville, meeting with the Army team that hosted a booth promoting DLA and DLA Aviation to various customer and industry partners.
