2023 DLA Foundation scholarship winners announced

By DLA Public Affairs

The Defense Logistics Agency Foundation awarded 33 scholarships to students with close family connections to current or past civilian or military employees.

“The DLA Foundation Board of Directors is delighted to announce this year’s awardees for the 2023-24 academic year,” said DLA Foundation Chair Mae DeVincentis. “Once again, through the generosity of many partners that include both our DLA employees and contractors, we are able to award scholarships to deserving children of DLA families.”

Scholarships are awarded annually based on merit and financial need. Thirty-two of the scholarships are for $1,500.

One $2,000 scholarship is awarded in honor of Frank Lotts, a former DLA senior executive service member who inspired many and died in November 2007. That scholarship is awarded to a student pursuing a degree in science, technology, engineering or math.
