RICHMOND, Va. –
Defense Logistics Agency Aviation and DLA Installation Management at Richmond personnel took top honors in several categories during the agency’s 56th Annual Employee Recognition Awards Ceremony, held at its Fort Belvoir-based headquarters Jan. 25.
Five personnel, two programs and one team were recognized for excellence by the DLA director, Navy Vice Adm. Michelle Skubic; the vice director, Brad Bunn; and senior enlisted leader, Air Force Command Chief Master Sergeant Alvin R. Dyer.
DLA Aviation and DLA Installation Management at Richmond awards included wins in the following categories:

Tanner Evans, Customer Support Specialist, DLA Aviation, was lauded for his work as a customer support specialist, particularly his support of more than 700 maintenance demands placed against 500 or more DLA-managed stock numbers.

Cmdr. David Odom (USN), DLA Aviation Cherry Point, N.C., was recognized for actions that led to DLA Aviation Cherry Point's exceptional fill rate and material availability levels, which far surpassed the 90 percent monthly goal. |
Company Grade Officer of the Year |

Cpt. Kwadralyn Townsend redefined the U.S. Air Force career broadening program and worked in various directorates to support DLA missions. |
DLA Small Team of the Year |

The Bluedog Pin Rivet Ad Hoc deployment team included members from DLA Aviation at Oklahoma City and DLA Distribution who worked alongside Army Material Command and Air Force Material Command to ensure seamless receipt and overnight delivery of prioritized replacement pins to aircraft worldwide. |
