Aviation, Richmond personnel recognized at annual DLA awards ceremony

RICHMOND, Va. — Defense Logistics Agency Aviation and DLA Installation Management at Richmond personnel took top honors in several categories of the agency’s 56th Annual Employee Recognition Awards Ceremony, held at its Fort Belvoir-based headquarters Jan. 25.

Call open for nominations for annual awards program

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — Nominations are being accepted through Aug. 11 for DLA's 56th Annual Employee Recognition Program.

Medical supply chain sweeps DLA Troop Support annual awards

PHILADELPHIA — The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Medical team is walking a little taller after sweeping the organization’s three major annual award categories in recognition of their support to the nation in 2021. The awards recognized Thomas Heleniak, Medical Tailored Vendor Logistics Specialist, as Employee of the Year; the Operation Allies Welcome/Refuge group as Team of the Year; and Nora Steigerwalt, director of Customer Operations, as the Supervisor of the Year.

DLA individuals, teams honored in virtual award ceremony

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — The 53rd Annual Employee Awards Ceremony recognizes leadership and hard work in support of the agency’s mission with 54 awards in categories such as leaders of the year and acquisition excellence.

Defense Logistics Agency Director Lt. Gen. Andrew Busch recognized several individual and team achievements in an annual ceremony, Dec. 15 in the McNamara Complex auditorium.
