DLA Police officer achieves major milestone

By Matthew Mahoney DLA Distribution Public Affairs

Defense Logistics Agency Police Officer, Maj. Jody Berkheiser, reached 20 years of service with the DLA Police Department on March 14. Berkheiser is only the third officer to achieve such a milestone in the history of the DLA Police at Susquehanna.

Prior to joining the DLA Police Force Berkheiser enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, earning the rank of Staff Sgt.

“Maj. Jody Berkheiser continues to serve admirably with the DLA Police and remains dedicated to serving this installation, his community and his fellow officers through all these years,” said Douglas Schraeder, police chief, DLA Distribution Susquehanna, Pennsylvania.
