2025 DLA Foundation scholarship winners announced

The Defense Logistics Agency Foundation awarded 31 scholarships to students with close family ties to current or past employees for the 2025-2026 school year.

The awardees each received a $2,000 scholarship. Scholarships are awarded annually based on merit and financial need.

The Frank Lotts Scholarship is awarded to a student pursuing a degree in science, technology, engineering or math in honor of the former DLA senior executive service member who passed away in 2007. The 2025 recipient is Kayda Herrick, a family member of a DLA Disposition Services employee in Battle Creek, Michigan.

Children, stepchildren, grandchildren, nieces or nephews of current or former DLA military or civilian employees are eligible for scholarships. The DLA Foundation accomplishes fundraising for scholarships by hosting various events throughout the year, and through personal contributions and Combined Federal Campaign donations.
