DLA Installation Management at Susquehanna hunt encourages safety, proper wildlife management practices

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. — The Defense Logistics Agency Installation Management at Susquehanna Environmental Management Division held a mentored youth deer hunt Nov. 9 on Defense Distribution Center, Susquehanna in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania.

A U.S. Airman assigned to 60th Diagnostics and Therapeutics Squadron sorts through medicine for a patient’s prescription at the base pharmacy at Travis Air Force Base, California, Jan. 26, 2024. The pharmacy fills approximately 520,000 prescriptions per year to service members, their families and veterans. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Medical supply chain and the Department of Veterans Affairs work together to negotiate better value on prescription drugs. NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. — Seven Defense Logistics Agency Installation Management at Susquehanna, Pennsylvania, first responders were recognized for their life-saving actions during a ceremony held on Defense Distribution Center, Susquehanna, in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, Sept. 26.

DLA Distribution Expeditionary deploys in support of Hurricane Helene relief efforts

NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. — The Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Expeditionary team deployed in support of a Federal Emergency Management Agency mission to establish a forward Incident Support Base at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, following Hurricane Helene to receive, track and ship lifesaving commodities to aid those impacted by the storm’s destruction.

Logistics in Action: Article originally appeared on the Official National Guard website — The Georgia Army National Guard, in response to Hurricane Helene, have mobilized to provide response and recovery support to Georgia state residents affected. Hurricane Helene has caused significant damage across the southeastern United States since its initial landfall. Since, FEMA has taken the lead in coordinating much needed Federal assistance for residents in significantly damaged areas and these weekend-warriors have been hard at work alongside civilian agencies across the United States, ensuring supplies get to where they are needed.
